To cater to this unique skill, students have launched Student Break Away, an annual road trip across Europe to raise money for charity. This year, the event will stop in Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia and Croatia over the course of the six day event, with teams having to drive by day and dance by night. But you don’t only party and drive. Those taking part are also encouraged to make their cars look as eye-catching as possible, so have fun deciding on a theme for your team.
The 2000 km trip around Europe should not only be a reason to have fun though. Before teams head out, you should try to raise as much money for the Teenage Cancer Trust as possible. So far, SBA has raised £75,000 for the Cancer Trust.
It costs £235 to sign up for the event, which can be on StudentBreakAway.com. Suggestions on how to go about fundraising as well as the rules for the event can also be found online.
