Most of you have probably already heard about Tang Hall, it is probably the most popular student area. It is famous amongst students for its large number of take-aways and kebab shops; probably the most per square mile in the whole of the UK!! There are other great local amenities too; the supermarket is only a short walk making life easy. Uni is close by - 10 mins or so; it is more suited to York Uni students due to its location. There are some nice areas of Tang Hall and some pretty bad ones too, so watch out.
Rent in Tang Hall is cheap as York rents go. You can get a house for as little as £50pppw and you can get a seriously nice house for £65-£75pppw.
