This is the area to the south of York city centre, it neighbours the Bishopthorpe Road area. It is another nice area to live – the only negative is that it is a fair way from York Uni and St. Johns, it is more students to students from the Law College.

Rent in Scarcroft is in the region of £55-65pppw, which is average. The benefit of living here is you are near the city centre and also near the train station.
