There is not a huge amount to say that is not coverd in the areas that surround it, Tang Hall, Heslington, Heslington Road, Badger Hill etc... The Hull Road is a 5-10 min walk to Uni, if you are exceptionally lazy or if its torrential rain then there is the bus which takes you to Uni or town. There are more take-aways than even the most seasoned student could handle - you cannot possibly be short for choice. The supermarket is on the road, so no long trips to town to get what you need.
Rent on the Hull Road is £55-75pppw, pretty average. You might get a little more expensive if you choose the granite work tops or marble tiles in the bathroom though,
