HEWORTH

Heworth is one of the cheaper places to live in York. It has a large student population; this is partly due to the fact that it services both Universities. It is closer to York St. Johns, a mere 10 minute walk. For York Uni it is a good 15 minute walk through Tang Hall. There are a number of local shops and slightly bigger ones too, so you should not need to venture far to get your weekly shop. Town is a mere 10minute walk at the most.

The good news is rent in Heworth; it ranges from around £40-70pppw. For you average Heworth student house you should be looking at £60-65pppw, but bear in mind there is a lot cheaper if you look hard enough.
