Heslington Road heads from the North West end of the Uni towards the city centre. It is the perfect place for the lazy student! You can literally live on the edge of the Uni. There are not exactly a lot of shops in the area that are of use to you. To get any food shopping done it is a trip to the supermarkets in town or on the Hull Road. This is a lovely area to live, most people live towards the Cemetery Road end of the Heslington Road; this seems to be the student area. The streets here have a lot of student houses - perfect for those who like a party.
Rent in on the Heslington Road ranges from about £45-75pppw, the average being £60-65pppw. If you hunt around you can find some cheap houses though.
