FULFORD

Fulford is a great place to live if you are at York Uni. It is only a stones throw away from Uni - literally a 5 minute walk across the park! It is a little further from the city centre than Fishergate, however this is not a problem, you can still get what you need on a day-to-day basis from the local shops. There is loads of parkland around, ideal for kicking a ball about in the summer, or for a post exam picnic. The area is quite 'studenty' with a large student presence, making it a nice community.

The rent is quite expensive though. You are looking at anything from £60-80pppw really. If you are looking for a nice spacious house with good sized rooms you are looking at about £65+pppw. Don't worry though, you won't need a bus pass so what you save from this can go towards the rent!
