Not much needs to be said here. You are a short distance from Uni, there is no need for transport, all your needs are catered for within a few minutes’ walk. Living in the city centre often means smaller rooms and lots of stairs; this can be a downside. Also you have the hustle and bustle of city life on your doorstep; you may find yourself having the odd disturbed night by your fellow students on the lash.
Rent is very varied, you can pay a lot and you can pay very little if you hunt around. I would say the average rent for the City Centre is about £55-60pppw, which is okay given that you have everything at your fingertips.
